Delivering a high-energy, “ninja”-inspired routine, NU impressed the crowd and judges at the Mall of Asia Arena with their precision, difficulty, and overall execution.

It scored 695 points to assert its dominance in the eight-team field, winning all of its nine titles in a span of 12 UAAP seasons.

With this latest victory, NU surpassed the previous eight-title benchmark held by UP Varsity Pep Squad and the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe, officially marking a new era of excellence in UAAP cheerdance history.

On top of the championship, the NU Pep Squad also won four special awards, further highlighting their technical mastery and creative showmanship.

Adamson University secured the back-to-back silver medal with 659 points through an “AdUVenture journey”-themed routine, while the FEU Cheering Squad earned the bronze with 658.5 points, showcasing a lively performance inspired by traditional Filipino street games.

Cash prizes were awarded, with NU taking home Php 50,000, Adamson receiving Php 30,000, and FEU claiming Php 20,000.

The results thus replicated last year's podium finish.

The UE Pep Squad (623) narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth with a spirited High School Musical-inspired performance. Close behind, the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe (618.5) secured fifth place.

Rounding out the standings, the UP Varsity Pep Squad (558) took sixth with a festive Christmas-themed routine. The DLSU Animo Squad (546.5) landed in seventh, while the Ateneo Blue Eagles (436.5) completed the list in eighth place.
