MANILA, Philippines – Ahtisa Manalo moves closer to the much-awaited fifth crown for the Philippines as the country's bet was chosen to advance to the Top 30 of Miss Universe 2025 with the finale competition happening today, November 21, 2025 (Philippine time) at the Impact Challenger Hall in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

Manalo was chosen to advance in the competition based on the preliminary round, which featured contestants competing in swimsuit and evening gown, and closed-door interviews.
The Top 30 will do a small interview with host American stand-up comedian and actor Steve Byrne and will compete in swimsuit round. Only twelve of them will advance to the evening gown competition.

During the preliminary competition, Ahtisa Manalo confidently took the Miss Universe stage in her deep blue, gold-accented evening gown, "Pinctada," designed by acclaimed Filipino couturier Mak Tumang. Her stunning look earned widespread praise from fans and pageant enthusiasts alike.
Manalo also turned heads during the swimsuit round of the preliminaries, impressing the audience with her poised and confident runway walk.
The Philippines so far has 4 Miss Universe titlists: Catriona Gray in 2018, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015, Margie Moran in 1973, and Gloria Diaz in 1969.
