MANILA, Philippines – Several local government units (LGUs) have announced the suspension of classes on Monday, October 13, 2025, due to increasing cases of flu and flu-like illnesses and the impact of recent earthquakes.

Metro Manila
- National Capital Region (NCR) – no face-to-face classes, preschool to senior high school, public, due to increase in cases of flu and flu-like illnesses; shift to alternative learning modalities until October 14
- Malabon City – no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private; shift to alternative learning modalities until October 14
- City of Manila – no face-to-face classes, elementary to high school, public; shift to alternative learning modalities until October 14
- Marikina City – no classes, all levels, public and private; until October 14
- Parañaque City – no face-to-face classes, elementary to high school, public and private; shift to alternative learning modalities until October 14
Calabarzon
- Rizal
- Taytay – no face-to-face classes, elementary to high school, public and private; shift to modular distance learning until October 14
Mindanao
- Cagayan de Oro City – no face-to-face classes, elementary and secondary, public schools; shift to alternative learning modalities
- Davao City – no classes, all levels, public and private
- General Santos City – no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private; until October 14
- Davao de Oro
- Laak – no classes, public and private
- Mabini – no classes, public and private
- Monkayo – no classes, public and private; until October 15
- Nabunturan – asynchronous classes implemented, all levels, public and private
- Misamis Oriental
- Gingoog – no face-to-face classes, public and private
- Surigao del Sur
- Tandag City – no face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private due to continuing assessment after earthquake

Automatic Class Suspensions
