MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will announce soon the top performing schools and performance in the October 2025 Chemist Licensure Exam (ChemLE).
PRC conducted the Chemistry board exam on October 13 and 14, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga. Meanwhile, the Chemical Technician exam was administered on October 15.

Previous Examinations
In the October 2024 Chemist Licensure Examination, the University of the Philippines - Los Baños (UPLB) emerged as the lone top-performing school, achieving a remarkable 90.57% passing rate, with 48 out of 53 examinees passing.
During the December 2023 Chemist Licensure Examination, the University of the Philippines - Diliman (UPD) claimed the top-performing spot, posting an 83.08% passing rate, or 54 out of 65 examinees passed.
In the December 2022 Chemist Licensure Examination, UPLB once again led the top-performing schools with an 82.35% passing rate, as 42 out of 51 takers successfully passed.
Meanwhile, in the October 2021 Chemistry Board Examination, UPLB also dominated with a perfect 100% passing rate, as all 8 examinees passed. UP-Manila followed closely with a 92.31% passing rate, or 12 out of 13 examinees passing.
