MANILA, Philippines – Actor Paolo Pangilinan is officially a licensed doctor after passing the October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE).

On Thursday, the Gaya Sa Pelikula star proudly shared the good news on his social media accounts, expressing deep gratitude and reflection on his journey.
Paolo, who graduated from St. Luke’s College of Medicine last August, said the achievement is a testament to his years of hard work and perseverance.
In his heartfelt post, he wrote,
“What great privilege to find my calling. No one knows how much I’ve given up to be here.”
He also expressed appreciation to his mentors, peers, and loved ones who supported him throughout his medical journey.
“To the shoulders I stand on, and to the hands that guided mine all throughout, my eternal gratitude,” he shared.
Paolo also offered words of encouragement to future doctors, saying, “I pray I guide well those who come next. Never give up.”

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 4,570 out of 5,900 examinees, or 77.46%, passed the October 2025 PLE.
With this milestone, Paolo Pangilinan now joins the ranks of Filipino doctors, proving that passion and perseverance can turn dreams into reality.
