CEBU CITY, Philippines — Kapamilya star Kim Chiu sent two 10-wheeler trucks loaded with construction materials to help rebuild homes in Bogo City and San Remigio, Cebu.

The 6.9-magnitude earthquake on September 30 damaged many homes, prompting urgent relief efforts in the province.

Being a Cebu native, Chiu personally shopped for construction materials to support affected families in her hometown.
Sheil Andes, a crew member of her upcoming series “The Alibi,” shared on X that Chiu plans to fill the two trucks for reconstruction projects.
“Last night natapos ang pag-pupuno ng isa sa 10-wheeler truck na donation ni @prinsesachinita para sa mga pamilyang apektado ng earthquake sa Bogo City at San Remigio, Cebu! Today on going naman ang isa pang truck. Thanks Kimmy! ❤️” Andes tweeted on October 3.
Chiu also posted on Facebook, “Pupunuin ng construction materials ang dalawang 10-wheeler truck na ito para sa lahat ng apektado ng earthquake sa Bogo City at San Remigio Cebu!”
