MANILA, Philippines – The September 2025 Librarian board exam results, which include the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools, are expected to be released on Monday, September 8, 2025, one (1) working day after the last day of exam..
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Librarian licensure exam (LLE) on September 4 and 5, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao.

Release of Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the target release of Librarian board exam results is on Monday, September 8, 2025, one (1) working day after the exam.
With the computer-based modality of the licensure exams, it is expected that results will be released immediately after the test.
Registration and Oathtaking
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
Verification of Ratings
Librarian board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
Coverage of Exams
The two-day examinations covered the following subjects: library organization and management, reference, bibliography, and user services, indexing and abstracting (Day 1); cataloging and classification, selection and acquisition and information technology (Day 2).
Previous Exams
In the September 2024 Librarians Computer-Based Licensure Exam, the PRC released the results immediately after the test. A total of 376 out of 771 passed the exams. Anne Francia Matias Chavez of Bestlink College of the Philippines topped the board with a score of 90.70%. Meanwhile, West Visayas State University – La Paz emerged as the top-performing school, posting a 100% passing rate as all 14 of its examinees passed.
For the September 2023 exam, results were released just three (3) working days after the last test date. Out of 886 examinees, 555 successfully passed. The topnotcher was Zamylle Ross Belaro Celso from the University of the East (UE)–Manila with a rating of 88.85%. The University of the Philippines (UP)–Diliman led the top-performing schools with a perfect 100% passing rate, as all 21 of its takers made it through.
In September 2022, the PRC also released results after three (3) working days. Of the 634 examinees, 250 passed the board. The highest scorer was Marzo Meco Bagayaua Alfonso from UP–Diliman, who garnered 88.20%. UP–Diliman likewise secured the top school ranking with a flawless 100% passing rate from its 12 examinees.
During the September 2021 exam, results came out in just two (2) working days. Out of 237 examinees, 113 passed. Francisco Fillon Magpantay Jr. of UP–Diliman ranked first with 90.50%. Four schools—UP–Diliman, Saint Paul University–Surigao, Adventist University of the Philippines, and the University of Mindanao–Davao City—shared the spotlight as top-performing schools, each with a 100% passing rate.
