MANILA, Philippines – DPWH Bulacan 1st district assistant engineer Brice Ericson Hernandez has named senators allegedly linked to anomalous flood control projects.

“Habang po ako ay naka-detain nakapag-isip po ako na maglabas ng aking nalalaman tungkol sa flood control project,” Hernandez said on Tuesday.
He specifically identified Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Joel Villanueva as among those involved.
“Si Senator Jinggoy po ay nagbaba ng P355 million ngayong 2025 sa mga ilang projects sa Bulacan,” he revealed during the hearing.
“Ang sabi po ng boss ko dito 30 percent po ang commitment dito,” he added.
The statement came during the resumption of the House Infrastructure Committee’s probe into the questionable projects.
“Puwede po bang 'wag ninyo na kong ibalik sa Senate, your honor? Kasi may mga involved pong senador dito,” Hernandez pleaded.
“Hindi ko po alam ang magiging kapalaran ko, kung ibabalik ninyo ko,” he admitted.
The controversy escalated a day after the Senate blue ribbon committee cited Hernandez in contempt.
The contempt ruling stemmed from his repeated refusal to answer questions about his alleged casino dealings.
