In a Facebook Live on Tuesday, Wilma lamented that ordinary Filipinos were the biggest victims.
“Tayong lahat ang ninakawan. Sana lang talaga mabigyan ng hustisya,” she said.
The actress also shared how people now grow anxious whenever it rains, hinting at how flooding has become a painful reminder of corruption.
“Ayan na ang ulan! Marami na namang kinakabahan kasi baka bumaha. Eh ‘yan si Mother Nature—ginawa na niyang paraan para mabuksan ang mata natin sa kurapsyon,” she said in a Facebook reel posted Friday.
Wilma relates to the struggles of every Filipino, citing soaring prices, stagnant wages, and heavy taxation.
Wala silang ginawa kundi mag-tax nang mag-tax,” she lamented.
She admitted that she now understands why some politicians are willing to fight — and even kill — for government positions.
Nagpapatayan, kasi pala napakaraming negosyo.”
Wilma also questioned how corruption persists despite huge national budgets allocated to vital sectors.
Yun pala, may ibang dahilan.”
She slammed lawmakers who fail to uphold the very laws they create.
Recalling a Senate hearing she had watched, Wilma was stunned at how anomalies managed to pass unnoticed.
“Nanood ako ng Senate hearing. Paano kaya nakakalusot ‘yun? Sabi nga ng isang senador, it’s systematic corruption. Grand theft talaga.

Finally, Wilma urged Filipinos to reflect carefully on their choices in the coming national elections.
Her remarks came amid a Senate Blue Ribbon Committee inquiry into alleged ghost flood control projects, following President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s disclosure that ₱100 billion worth of projects were awarded to only 15 contractors in the past three years.
