MTLE RESULTS AUGUST 2025 – The August 2025 Medical Technologist (MedTech) licensure exam results, which include the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools, are released on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, within five (5) working days after the exam.
As announced, 3,660 out of 4,720 (77.54%) successfully passed the August 2025 MTLE.
The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his/her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the MedTech board exam on August 12 and 13, 2025, in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
Update August 20, 2025 at 9:20 a.m.: The PRC has confirmed that the MTLE results will be officially released within the next few hours today."
To quote, PRC said: "Few hours left before the results are out! Future RMTs, be primed up and get ready as the August 2025 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination Results shall be revealed soon!"

NOTE: Those who failed to pass the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70% can register as Medical Laboratory Technician, PRC said.
RELEASE OF MTLE RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024, the August 2025 MedTech board exam results will be released on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, within five (5) working days.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. Previous MTLE results were released in 2-3 working days. We advise takers to monitor starting Friday, August 15.
SCHEDULE OF REGISTRATION
The online registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be held on below schedule.
Date of Registration: Starting September 29, 2025
Those who will register must go to PRC's official site https://online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for smooth transactions. Ensure that you have below requirements ready:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
PRC further advised passers to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
OATH-TAKING
The PRC announces oathtaking schedules shortly after releasing exam results.
- Face-to-face oathtaking: Register online by 12:00 NN the day before, print the QR-coded Oath Form, and submit it during the ceremony.
- Alternative options: Attend online oathtaking (register at least 5 days before) or request a special oathtaking; announcements are posted once confirmed.
- Online oathtaking: Select “e-OATH” on PRC’s website and print the Oath of Professional form.
- After oathtaking, proceed with Initial Registration by booking an appointment online.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
All examinees of the August 2025 MedTech Licensure Exam (MTLE), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.
Refer to PRC Official Website to check your board exam ratings or score.
The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.
COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION
The MedTech board exam covered the following subjects: clinical chemistry, microbiology and parasitology, and clinical microscopy (August 12); hematology, blood banking and serology, hispathologic techniques, cytotechnology, medical technology laws, related laws and its implementing rules, and the code of ethics (August 13).
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the most recent exam held in March 2025, PRC released results in four (4) working days. A total of 6,147 out of 7,659 successfully passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Exam (MTLE). Jherry Andrei Dellica Arbotante from Velez College aced the board with 92.30%.
In the August 2024 Medical Technologist Licensure Exam (MTLE), PRC announced results in four (4) working days. A total of 3,872 out of 5,574 passed the exams. Riana Beatriz Tungol Siron from University of Santo Tomas (UST) topped the board with 92.30%.
In the March 2024 MTLE, PRC released results in just two (2) working days. A total of 7,309 out of 9,068 passed the exams. Jeency Agujar Pilapil from Cebu Doctors University topped the board with 93.00%.
In the August 2023 MTLE, results were released by PRC in 4 working days. A total of 3,982 out of 5,401 passed the exams. Sam Jeffrey Bitao Tiongco from Saint Louis University led the passers with 93.30%.

About the MedTech Profession
A medical technologist is a healthcare professional involved with laboratory investigations of specimens taken from the human body.
Examinations or tests on biological specimens such as, but not limited to blood, urine, stool and other body fluids, are performed for the purpose of aiding physicians evaluate, diagnose, manage, treat and monitor patients.
The cost of education for the 4-year Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, also known as medical laboratory science, ranges from Php 30,000 to 50,000 per semester in private schools and universities or 40-50% lower in public educational institution.
