MANILA, Philippines – Several local government units (LGUs) announced suspension of classes for Friday, July 4, 2025, due to the inclement weather brought by the low pressure area and southwest monsoon or habagat.
According to state weather bureau PAGASA's 8:00 PM update on Thursday, the LPA inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) now has a "HIGH" chance to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon is affecting Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
