MANILA, Philippines – Classes on Friday, July 11, 2025, have been cancelled in some areas due to extreme weather conditions.
The municipal government of Patnanungan in Quezon has declared suspension of classes for two days, July 10 and 11, 2025 due to 'danger' heat index that may cause heat-related illnesses, including heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.
A heat index within the range of 42°C to 51°C is considered a "danger" level, according to PAGASA.
Meanwhile, several areas have suspended classes this week as the southwest monsoon or 'habagat' continues to bring adverse weather and flooding.
This list will be updated as soon as local or national authorities make their advisories.
