MANILA, Philippines – The final list of examinees and room assignments for the August 2025 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Exam (MELE) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) board exam are available here in few days before the tests.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board of Mechanical Engineering will conduct the second regular MELE and CPMLE this year on August 9, 10 and 11, 2025.
The August 2025 Mechanical Engineer licensure exams will be administered in various testing centers nationwide: Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
Meanwhile, the CPM will be held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, and Pagadian.

PRC General Instructions to MELE, CPM Examinees
1. Check or verify your school/building assignments at the PRC official website (www.prc.gov.ph) or through the Notices/Announcements to be posted at the PRC premises two (2) to three (3) working days before the date of examination.
2. Report to the school/building assignment before 5:30 a.m. on the first day of the examination to verify your room and seat number. BE PUNCTUAL. LATE EXAMINEES WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.
What to wear on exam day?
For male examinees – tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark), decent pants or slacks.
For female examinees – tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo or mark) Decent pants or slacks.
What to bring on the exam day?
Bring the following items on examination proper:
- Notice of Admission
- Official Receipt
- Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
- Ball pens with BLACK ink only
- One (1) piece long brown envelope
- One (1) piece transparent plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items
- Non-programmable calculator.
Note: Only one basic calculator shall be allowed inside the examination room. All calculators shall be inspected and have to be reset before the start of the examination.
Not allowed by PRC
Below are strictly prohibited inside exam premises:
- Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula
- Calculators which are programmable.
- CELLULAR PHONES, EARPLUGS, TRANSMITTERS, PORTABLE COMPUTERS, SMART WATCHES, BLUETOOTH AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS/DEVICES WHICH MAY STORE OR RETRIEVE DATA/INFORMATION AND/OR TO COMMUNICATE FOR WHATEVER PURPOSES
- Bags of any kind (ladies bag, shoulder bags, attaché case, backpacks, etc.)
- Other examination aids not stated in this program
