MANILA, Philippines – "Dream it, then make it happen.”
That’s the mantra of Rona Marie Ramos after securing the 1st spot in the April 2025 Midwifery Licensure Examination (MLE), earning a score of 92.60%, representing Bataan Peninsula State University-Main Campus.

Based on her Facebook post on April 23, Rona had truly set her sights not only on passing the board exam but also on becoming a topnotcher.
She expressed deep gratitude to her family, friends, and loved ones who believed in her and supported her until the very end.
To my family, friends, and loved ones, mahal na mahal ko kayo sobra.”
In her appreciation post, she also thanked her school and college for the support given to board takers—from assisting with requirements all the way to Baguio and after the board exam, including those behind their review sessions.
And of course, she also recognized the Lord and appreciated her own capabilities.
“And syempre, sayo ronagirl. Sobrang tatag mo!
In an exclusive interview with The Summit Express, Rona shared that midwifery was not her first choice of degree. She originally wanted to pursue nursing. However, along the way, she eventually grew to love the program as she continued her studies.
And when it came to her dream of becoming a topnotcher, Rona shared that it had always been part of her goals—and something she worked hard for with determination and faith.
“Yung pagiging topnotcher po, yes po. Iyon po talaga ginawa kong goal during may review po. Hindi lang po maging board passer kundi maging topnotcher din po hehe,” she said.
Dream came true, indeed! Congratulations, Rona!
