MANILA, Philippines – Former housemates Ralph de Leon and Charlie Fleming officially returned to Big Brother house after emerging as the top picks in the wildcard round of the ongoing PBB Celebrity Collab Edition.
On Sunday, May 18, PBB announced the winners of the wildcard round, which gave previously evicted housemates a second chance to become official housemates once again. The wildcard twist was open to six of the eight evicted housemates, with only two slots up for grabs—one for a former Kapamilya, and one for a former Kapuso contestant.
Hosts Bianca Gonzalez and Gabbi Garcia revealed on May 11 that six ex-housemates would compete individually for the limited spots in what the show dubbed as "The Big Comeback."
Ralph de Leon emerged as the top pick among the former Kapamilya housemates, earning a commanding 81.28% of the public votes. He was followed by AC Bonifacio with 14.22%, and Kira Balinger with 4.50%.
Among the former Kapuso housemates, Charlie Fleming secured her return with 40.44% of the votes, edging out Josh Ford and Ashley Ortega, who received 33.16% and 26.40%, respectively.
Michael Sager and Emilio Daez were initially eligible for the wildcard round but opted out due to prior commitments.
This marks the first time in Pinoy Big Brother history that evicted housemates have been given a wildcard chance to return via public voting in a collaborative edition.
PBB Celebrity Collab Edition airs weeknights at 10 p.m. and weekends at 6:15 p.m. on GMA, Kapuso Stream, GMANetwork.com, GMA Pinoy TV, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC.
