A-G Passers: 2025 DOST Scholarship Exam Results

Out of 95,654 examinees who took the national qualifying exam last April 5 and 6, 2025, the list of qualifiers to the 2025 DOST-SEI Undergraduate S&T Scholarship Program will be announced. Passers will enjoy the benefits of their scholarship at the start of the first semester of the academic year 2025-2026.

This year’s pen-and-paper qualifying examination was conducted in 215 testing centers nationwide.

Luzon accounted for the majority of examinees, with 55,758 hopefuls. Meanwhile, the Visayas and Mindanao regions recorded 21,806 and 18,058 examinees, respectively.

Extending beyond the Philippine archipelago, 32 aspiring scholars took the exam in Saudi Arabia during the first week of May 2025.

The DOST scholarship program is open to graduating students of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) strand and non–STEM students who belong to the upper top five percent of the graduating class who wish to pursue a college degree on Basic and Applied Sciences, Engineering, Science and Mathematics Teaching.

DOST undergraduate scholars will benefit from the following:

  • monthly stipend of Php 8,000
  • a tuition fee subsidy of up to Php 40,000 per academic year for those who will enroll in private institutions
  • Php 10,000 learning materials and/or connectivity allowance
  • MS/PE clothing allowance (one-time only)
  • one economy-class roundtrip fare per year for those studying outside of their home province
  • Php 10,000 thesis allowance
  • graduation allowance
  • and group accident insurance.

Scholars are required to render service in the country preferably along their fields of specialization after graduation for a period equivalent to the number of years they enjoyed the scholarship as a return service.

SEI maintains its resolve that this strategy allows the country’s industries to have “the best minds” to do their services and products.
