MANILA, Philippines – RESULTS ARE OUT! The Department of Education (DepEd) released results of the May-June 2024 National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH), also known as Principals' Test, this October 2024 or in five (5) months after the exam. The complete list of passers and top 10 (topnotchers) are available on this page once announced online.
DepEd through the Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development (BHROD) administered the 2023 NQESH on May 26, 2024 (Sunday) through a secure online platform at designated examination sites across the country. Meanwhile, the conduct of NQESH in all testing sites in Regions 5 (Bicol region) and Region 8 (Eastern Visayas) was rescheduled to June 2, 2024 (Sunday).
According to DepEd in releasing memorandum No. 13, series of 2024, passing the NQESH is one of the prerequisites for aspiring applicants for Principal and Assistant Principal positions in public elementary and secondary schools.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
DepEd said that official results will be released through another Memorandum.
On October 15, The Summit Express learned from DepEd - Human Resources Development Division (HRDD) that they are targeting release of NQESH results this month (October 2024).
PREVIOUS EXAMINATION
In the 2022 NQESH/Principals' Test, DepEd released results in about three (3) months after the exams. Takers were categorized according to their qualification status. A total of 2,203 out of 5,954 (37%) tagged as ELIGIBLE to the next stage for Principal I positions.
In the December 2018 NQESH/Principals' Test, DepEd announced results in six (6) months after the exam. Only 148 hopefuls passed the test. Angelo D. Uy of Region IV-A aced the exam.
In the December 2017 Principals' Test, results were released in 5-6 months after the exam. Only 5,111 out of 20,653 (24.75%) passed the exam. Grant B. Gubatan from Region 1 and Rhoda O. Dela Cruz from Region 4A tied on highest spot.
In the April 2017 (2016 Principals' test), results were announced after 5 months. A total of 388 examinees out of thousands aspiring school heads successfully hurdled the exams. The top 10 passers list was led by Christian N. Sango of Region XI.
In the October 2015 exam, 2,195 out of nearly 19,000 takers passed the exams. Results were out online in less than 3 months. Erwin John Santos from Region 3 and Garry Vacunawa from Region 8 led the passers.
