MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced results of June 2024 Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Mechanical Engineer (ME) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) on Wednesday, July 3. As announced, 19 out of 100 (19%) passed the MELE while 1 out of 2 (50%) passed the CPM.
The ME and CPM board exam in Middle East and Singapore was given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering (BME) composed of Engr. Rodulfo L. Tablante, Chairman; Engr. Manuel L. Paulino and Engr. Ramon F. Solis, Members.
The examination was held in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Al Ahmadi, Kuwait; Al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Doha, Qatar; Manama, Bahrain; and Singapore last June 16, 17 and 18, 2024 (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday).
According to PRC, the conduct of SPLE for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) shall be in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 1034 (s. 2017), Republic Act No. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835.

The performance of schools in the June 2024 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination (SPLE) in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation" is as follows:
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
EXAMINATION COVERAGE
The ME board exam in Middle East covers the following subjects: industrial and power plant engineering (Day 1); mathematics, engineering economics and basic engineering services, machine design, materials and shop practice (Day 2).
RELEASE OF RESULTS
The target release of June 2024 SPLE was not indicated in the PRC Resolution No. 1728 series 2023 "Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2024" but we advise takers to monitor announcement of results in the last week of June until July 2024.
