Abunda recounted that he was in Hong Kong over the weekend when he was overwhelmed with emotions, first due to the passing of Dreamscape Entertainment Head, Deo Endrinal, and secondly, the breakup of Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque.

“Isa pang balita na talagang nakalungkot, sumindak sa akin habang ako’y nasa Hong Kong ay ang balita po na naghiwalay na sina Bea [Alonzo] at Dominic Roque,” he said.

“Ako’y nalungkot ho talaga dahil madalas, ‘pag nagkikita kami ni Bea ay nagkakakwentuhan ho kami tungkol sa buhay, tungkol sa kanila, their marriage plans, etc. So, I was shocked. Tama si Ogie Diaz po.”

“As we talk today, yes, hiwalay po si Dominic at tsaka si Bea,” the host confirmed.

“Sino ba namang ayaw maayos ang ganitong klase ng problema? As a matter of fact, from good sources, kagabi or no’ng isang gabi lamang ay nag-usap na muli si Bea at si Dominic. They’re trying to understand each other but they’re going through a rough patch,” he added, mentioning that the ex-couple were trying to patch things up.

Abunda also mentioned that Bea returned the engagement ring to Dominic, which he gave to her in July 2023 when he asked for her hand in marriage.

Before Abunda's revelation, there was already talk about the cryptic post on the Threads by Bea Alonzo's road manager, Nina Ferrer, which was then shared by makeup artist Ting Duque.

Bea's road manager Nina was the first to post about a "manipulative sad boi."

“Any guy who'll try to convince someone that they're the victim of the situation. They'll make you believe that you're in the wrong and that you're the one who should be feeling guilty. Toying with your mind, they're seriously just bad news,” she said on Threads.

It was shared by Duque with a caption, "They should be stopped."

Although no specific person was mentioned or identified as the "sad boi," netizens connected this to the issue of the Bea-Dominic breakup, which consequently led to the cancellation of their wedding.

Meanwhile, in Bea's latest vlog, viewers can witness their final moments together as a couple during their trip to Japan.
