The lucky bettor admitted she rarely buys lotto ticket but decided to try her luck to welcome the New Year. She doesn't even have a favorite lottery combination. She and her family even had to find out the result via Facebook and research it on YouTube because they didn’t watch the drawing live. So, when she won, her family couldn’t believe their luck and was unable to sleep through the night.

The 44-year-old winner explained the meaning of her lucky number combination.

The winner admitted she still has no clear plans for what to do with her winnings. But she prayed to the Lord that they would be guided on how to share their unexpected blessings with those in need.

Sana gabayan kami Lord para magamit itong blessings na binigay sa amin at sana ma i-share din naming ito sa mga taong nangangailangan at makatulong kami sa iba,” she said.

She will take home half of the jackpot prize, or around P260,637,555.80. Her winnings will be subject to a 20% tax under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
