MANILA, Philippines – The most anticipated UAAP Season 85's Cheerdance Competition (CDC) unfolds today, December 10, 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Check out on this page for the live updates and results of the annual one-day sporting event.
Eight UAAP-member schools battle to win the hearts of judges and viewers. The top three (3) cheerdance teams will be named as podium finishers at the end of the competition.

Reigning UAAP Cheerdance Competition champion Far Eastern University (FEU) is seeking to make history of winning two UAAP cheerdance titles in the same year. They are set to perform sixth in the 2022 CDC.
Opening the curtain for today's event at 4:00 pm will be the Adamson University (AdU) Pep Squad, this season's host school and the runner-up last season.
University of Santo Tomas (UST) Salinggawi Dance Troup, University of the Philippines (UP) Pep Squad and National University (NU) Pep Squad are also all out to reclaim the throne.
The criteria for judging were divided into two: cheerleading and dance criteria.
Unlike in the previous season where there are only a maximum of 15 performers in a 3-minute performance, this time around there will be maximum of 25 cheerdancers doing a six-minute routine.
