FULL RESULTS: June 2022 LET teachers board exam list of passers, top 10

MANILA, Philippines — The June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or teachers board exam results, together with the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools for Elementary and Secondary levels are released online on August 4, 2022 or in 30 working days after the exam.

As announced, 8,667 elementary teachers out of 17,149 examinees (50.54%) and 10,193 secondary teachers out of 20,191 examinees (50.48%) successfully passed the LET.

It is further announced that of the 8,667 elementary teacher passers, 290 are first timers and 8,377 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 695 passers are first timers and 9,498 are repeaters.

The results of examination with respect to twenty-eight (28) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations; and six (6) were withheld for further verification of documents submitted.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Fourth Batch of LET board exam during the COVID-19 pandemic on Sunday, June 26, 2022 in at least 18 testing centers nationwide.

Testing centers include Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Catarman, Cebu, Davao, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Jolo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban and Zamboanga.

This is in accordance to Resolution No. 1363 to "divide the examinees into batches in order to comply with the established health protocols." As announced, there are more or less 170,000 examinees for LET 2020-2021 after previous postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The first, second and third batch of exams were held successfully on September 2021, January 30, 2022 and March 27, 2022.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be open from August 17 to September 20, 2022.

The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following:
  • Notice of Admission (for identification only);
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal;
  • two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag);
  • two sets of documentary stamps;
  • 1 piece short brown envelope.

PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

HOW TO CHECK LET EXAM SCORE?

LET board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

WHAT IS THE PASSING RATE OF LET EXAM?

To pass the LET, aspirant must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.

Note that passing the teacher licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The June 2022 LET covered two (2) parts for Elementary - General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) and three (3) parts for Secondary - General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).

The test covered the major areas of General Education (English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences), Professional Education (teaching profession, social dimensions of education, principles of teaching, education technology, curriculum development, facilitating learning, child and adolescent development, assessment of student learning, developmental reading, field study and practice teaching). The 10 specializations for Secondary Teacher with exam coverage depends on the chosen course: English, Filipino, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Social Studies or Social Sciences, Values Education, MAPEH, Agriculture and Fishery Arts and TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Only Mathematics (under Specialization subject) was allowed to use calculator in conjunction with specific features. The modification is pursuant to Resolution No. 25, series of 2019 issued by the Board for Professional Teachers.

RELEASE OF RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021, the target release of June 2022 LET board exam result is on Friday, August 5, 2022 or in 30 working days after the test.

The computed total number of workdays excludes 5 Saturdays and Sundays.

PRC Board News, our partner website for PRC exam results said that the probable release date of June 2022 LET exam results is between July 25 and August 5, 2022 or in 21-30 working days after the exam.

Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. This is due to several factors such as the total number of examinees, effect of work cancellations due to calamities and unforeseen events and system of checking the pencil-based tests.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

During the Batch 3 LET, results were released earlier than expected or only twenty-five (25) days after the exams. PRC named 10,039 elementary teachers out of 20,567 examinees (48.81%) and 7,809 secondary teachers out of 18,717 examinees (41.72%) successfully passed the teachers board exam. None of the schools qualified for the top performing school list for Elementary Level. Meanwhile, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) - Sta. Mesa was the lone top performing school in the Secondary Level.

During Batch 2 LET (January 2022), PRC announced results in thirty (30) working days. A total of 8,737 elementary teachers out of 15,696 examinees (55.66%) and 12,074 secondary teachers out of 22,454 examinees (53.77%) passed the tests. Mindanao State University (MSU)-Marawi City topped the schools for Elementary Level while Cebu Normal University (Cebu State College) led the schools for Secondary level.

In the September 2021 (Batch 1 LET), PRC released results in forty-seven (47) working days after the exam. A total of 4,883 elementary teachers out of 8,726 examinees (55.96%) and 10,318 secondary teachers out of 17,863 examinees (57.76%) successfully passed the exams. Cebu Technological University - Main was the lone top performing school in the Elementary Level while West Visayas State University - La Paz topped the schools in the Secondary Level.

In the last teacher's board exam before the pandemic (September 2019), PRC announced results in fifty (50) working days. A total of 28,973 elementary teachers out of 92,440 examinees (31.34%) and 54,179 secondary teachers out of 136,523 examinees (39.68%) successfully passed the exams. University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) - Tagum was the rank 1 top performing school in the Elementary Level while University of the Philippines - Los Banos (UPLB) dominated the Secondary level exams.
