Where to watch, livestream: 2022 CDC UAAP Cheerdance Competition

MANILA, Philippines – After a long wait due to COVID-19 pandemic, the UAAP Cheerdance Competition (CDC) will officially return today, May 22, 2022, 4 pm at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The eight member schools are now ready to give their loudest cheer for the fans and viewers of the 28-year-old sporting event in the UAAP Season 84.

The defending champions National University (NU) Pep Squad is seeking for their third straight and seventh title. They are set to perform second in the 2022 CDC.

CDC 2019 runner-up Far Eastern University (FEU) Cheering Squad will be the fourth performer.

Adamson University (AdU) Pep Squad, which ranked third last CDC, will be at No. 5, seeking to bore fruit its bid to regain the throne it won two years ago.

Opening the curtain for today's event at 4:00 pm will be the Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion, aiming to improve ranking from 7th place in 2019.

Completing the line-up are University of the East (UE) Pep Squad, University of the Philippines (UP) Pep Squad, De La Salle (DLSU) Animo Squad and University of Santo Tomas (UST) Salinggawi Dance Troupe.

UAAP official partners TV5, Cignal and Smart will broadcast the cheerdance event.
