MANILA, Philippines – Actor Kit Thompson has been brought in for questioning by the police after his girlfriend showbiz newcomer Ana Jalandoni was rescued from a Tagaytay hotel where they staying at.
Tagaytay PNP on Friday, March 18, confirmed that Kit is being probed after his girlfriend was rescued and taken to a hospital for sustaining bruises and injuries. According to the cops, they received a call from the hotel.
Reports said that the actress asked for help from friends and family. Screenshots of her alleged conversation with a certain "kuya" as she asked for help have circulated.
Ana reportedly sent photos of herself with injuries and bruises after Kit detained her in the hotel.
Meanwhile, Kit's management Cornerstone Entertainment issued a statement that they have yet to receive an official report on the incident. They, however, appealed to the public to be mindful in casting judgment based on reports circulating online.
Kit and Ana first went public with their relationship back in December 2021. Ana called her boyfriend, "my love." The photo of their first date shared by Kit is now deleted on Instagram.
The couple recently celebrated Kit's birthday last February with a sweet beach vacation.
