MANILA, Philippines – Two bettors became instant millionaires after winning over Php 70-million jackpot of the Ultra Lotto 6/58 and P20-M Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said on Friday, January 14, 2022.
PCSO said one bettor, who bought the ticket at a lotto outlet in San Fernando City, La Union guessed the winning combination 53-10-19-21-42-47 of the Ultra Lotto draw while another player from Sto, Domingo, Nueva Ecija guessed 24-31-20-17-13-18 combination of the Mega Lotto, with a total prize of Php 70,258,716.80 and Php 20,212,102.00, respectively.

To claim the check, they must go to PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
As provided in the TRAIN law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent final tax. Once the jackpot is claimed by the winner, it would be less 20 percent.
The Ultra Lotto was last won November 26, 2021 by a lone winner who bought ticket at a lotto outlet in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.
Meanwhile, the Mega Lotto was last won on December 29, 2021 by two bettors who bought the tickets from a lotto outlet in Las Piñas City and Guiguinto, Bulacan.
The 6/58 is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday while the 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

PCSO general manager Royina Garma urged the public to patronize PCSO games to generate more funds to be used to assist Filipinos.
The PCSO serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
