MANILA, Philippines – Alyssa Valdez and Anji Salvacion emerged as the “PBB Kumunity” Celebrity Edition Top 2 winners on New Year's Day, after eleven weeks of stay at the Pinoy Big Brother house.
Alyssa and Anji received 22.63 and 13.60 percent of combined Kumu and text votes, which also includes the diamonds earned through the set of challenges.
Other housemates in the Final 5 of the celebrity edition - Samantha Bernardo, Madam Inutz and Brenda Mage received 13.53, 13.03 and 2.84 percent of combined votes, respectively.
The Final 5 competed in a series of tasks that test their strength, determination, and strategic thinking in the 10 Million Kumu Diamonds Challenge.
Alyssa won the challenges with 3.45M diamonds, followed by Brenda with 2.25M and Anji with 2.05M diamonds. The Final Five decided to vote themselves instead of voting to evict other housemates. Meanwhile, Anji shared 25K diamonds each to Madam Inutz and Samantha.
Alyssa and Anji will each receive Php 100,000 cash prize and will continue to stay inside the house until Sunday. Brenda, Madam and Samantha were evicted and left the house on new year's day.
They are still in the running to become Big Winner of the season versus the Top 2 housemates of the Adult Edition and Teen Edition.
Moreover, PBB revealed the adult edition housemates ahead of the kickoff. "PBB Kumunity" Adult Edition will be the next batch that will enter the "PBB" house.
