Miss India Harnaaz Sandhu wins Miss Universe 2021

MANILA, Philippines – Miss India Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe 2021 on Sunday, December 12, 2021 (Monday, December 13 Manila time) at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel.

Sandhu, 21, bested 79 candidates from around the world. Paraguay's Nadia Ferreira was named the first-runner up while Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane followed as second runner-up.

During the competition's Q&A portion, the Top 3 contestants were asked: "What advice would you give to young women watching on how to deal with the pressures they face today?"
