The TV host broke his silence that he will soon follow many Kapamilya personalities who decided to find a new home network.

Is Tito Boy moving to GMA soon? TV host reacts

According to Tito Boy, there have been offers from both GMA and TV5 but those were quite a long time ago. He clarified that the offers were from independent producers, probably for a project.

He said in an interview, "I've been offered by many. Early on during the pandemic. Hindi ko alam bakit pumuputok ngayon 'yan. Nahihiya tuloy ako sa Channel 7. Wala namang offer sa akin ang Channel 7."

"But I have been in discussion with various parties, including people who are affiliated with 7. I’ve been offered by other channels. I’ve been asked by people affiliated with TV5. I’ve been negotiating with other independent producers to do talk shows, yes," Tito Boy added.

The veteran TV host clarified that he is still waiting for his home network to gain a franchise. He isn't closing any doors but his answer to network transfer is definitely no, for now.

"But I'm still waiting for ABS-CBN to have free TV. Mahirap magsalita nang patapos, pero right now, the answer is no," Tito Boy explained.

Following ABS-CBN losing its franchise last May 2020, the late-night talk show "Tonight With Boy Abunda" has stopped airing. Since then, Tito Boy has been active on vlogging via The Boy Abunda Talk Channel on YouTube.

Despite his social media presence, Tito Boy admitted he still looks forward to being able to do talk shows on TV.

"But halimbawa free TV ang ABS, we wouldn't even be talking about this. Yun lang naman inaantay ko. I wanna be able to go back to television. I miss television. I miss doing my talk shows on television," he remarked.

But if ever the time comes that ABS-CBN will still fail to secure a franchise in the future, Tito Boy said he will not hesitate to apply to other networks.

"So, kung walang wala na talaga, e, di mag-a-apply na ako sa iba. Pero sa ngayon, di totoo yun. Nahihiya lang ako sa Channel 7. Hindi ko alam bakit lumitaw ngayon 'yan," Tito Boy explained.
