RESULTS: September 2021 Physician board exam PLE performance of schools

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) hailed the top performing schools in the September 2021 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam. The full list of performance of schools is also available on this page as released on September 24 or in five (5) working days after the exam.

Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM)  topped the schools with 98.68% or 75 out of 76 passed. Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM)  topped the schools with 98.68% or 75 out of 76 passed. Xavier University followed with 91.55%, 65 out of 71 hurdled the exams.

PRC administered the second regular Physician board exam this year on September 11, 12, 18 and 19, 2021 in Baguio, Cagayan de Oro,Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban and Zamboanga.

Note that PLE in Manila was cancelled as per recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on COVID-19. Exams in Tuguegarao City was also postponed but due to typhoon “Kiko”.

PLE RELATED RESULTS

The top ten (10) performing schools in the September 2021 Physician Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058(C) series of 2017: WITH 50 OR MORE EXAMINEES AND WITH AT LEAST 80% PASSING PERCENTAGE



Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the September 2021 Physician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."



PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the March 2021 Physician board exams, Far Eastern University (FEU)- Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation topped the schools with 91.76% or 167 out of 182 passed. University of Santo Tomas ranked second with 88.33% or 53 out of 60 passed.

In the November 2020 PLE, Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) topped the schools with 100% passing rate or 138 takers passed. University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila followed with 98.63% or 144 out of 146 passed the exams.

In the March and September 2020 PLE, FEU - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation was the lone top performing school, 91.60% or 109 out of 119 passed.

In the September 2019 Physician board exams, Ateneo de Manila University School of Medicine and Public Health - Pasig, CIM and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila topped the schools with identical 100% passing rate, 133, 127 and 103 passers respectively. UST followed with 99.31% with 430 out of 433 passers.
