MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) hailed the top performing schools in the August 2021 Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) board exam.
PRC conducted the licensure exam in the cities of Baguio, Koronadal, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban and Zamboanga on August 15 and 16.
NOTE: Examinations in National Capital Region (NCR), Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro (CDO) were cancelled pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) Resolution No. 130-A (s. 2021) and PRC Resolution No. 1394 (s. 2021). Meanwhile, examinees in Davao were asked to transfer exam venue to Koronadal.

In the February 2020 Mechanical Engineer board exam, Batangas State University (BatSU) - Alangilan topped the schools with 92.55% or 174 out of 188 passed the exams (50 or more examinees).
In the August 2019 exams, BatSU- Alangilan also topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all 81 takers passed. University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman followed with 97.33% or 73 out of 75 passed.
