Medical workforce augmentation
PRC in its Resolution No. 1353 cited the "clamor to reconsider the possibility of conducting the NLE at earlier dates due to the urgent call of the government to augment the workforce of the medical professions, especially the Registered Nurses, on the country's battle against COVID-19 pandemic."
The agency clarified that November 21 and 22 schedule will be retained for the second batch of the NLE.
In April, PRC released Resolution 1350 to reschedule the NLE to later date due to the surge of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases and for the safety of the future Nurses and all those who will be involved in the conduct of the NLE.
