MANILA, Philippines – In a taped episode Monday night, the popular reality television series "Pinoy Big Brother: Connect" (PBB Connect) named the first set of housemates in danger of elimination.

Mika Pajares, the "Single Momshie-kap ng Bataan" was the first housemate named as nominee. She garnered 7 votes from her housemates, with most of them noting her being too complacent.

Justin Dizon, the "Courageous Cabalen ng Pampanga", garnered 4 votes from his housemates.

Aizyl Tandugon, "Miss Malakas ng Misamis Oriental", got 17 votes from her housemates, the most number of votes in the first nomination night.

The housemates who voted for Tandugon are displeased with her attitude and offensive jokes.

Meanwhile, housemates Kyron Aguilar (Shy Biker Boy ng Butuan) and Russu Laurente (Bunsong Boksingero ng General Santos) are exempted in the nomination being the Heads of the Household (HOH) for the week.

How to vote?

PBB Connect announced that viewers can now save or evict a housemate by texting BBS (name of housemate) or BBE (name of housemate) to 2366. Voting will be available also on streaming app Kumu.

The historic PBB Connect amid the COVID-19 pandemic opened its doors for Filipino dreamers on December 6. Twelve (12) housemates were first introduced and entered the yellow house. At the end of the week, housemates Alyssa Exala (Alluring Accountant ng Australia) and Liofer Pinatacan (Dong Diskarte ng Zamboanga Del Sur) joined the team. Ralph Malibunas (Na-Nice Boy Nanny ng France) is the latest official housemate who entered the house.

In partnership with online streaming platform Kumu, ABS-CBN aims to "provide hope and strengthen connections among Filipinos during this pandemic" with the return of the popular reality competition.

The Kapamilya network held auditions for PBB Connect between October 19 and November 11 on Kumu. It attracted 177,524 aspiring housemates, the highest audition turnout in the history of the show.
