MANILA, Philippines – Rabiya Mateo of Iloilo City has already been crowned as Miss Universe Philippines 2020 but a brewing controversy is stirring after Miss Taguig Sandra Lemonon throws shade on social media.

Sandra quickly became a top trending topic on Twitter just hours after the Miss Universe Philippines coronation. The beauty queen has several intriguing posts on Instagram that allude to the competition.

In one post, she alludes that they need justice and that karma will soon come. Sandra wrote, "The truth always comes out. It’s just about timing. Karma is real. Soon. Because we deserve justice."

Shamcey Supsup, the current national director of Miss Universe Philippines also posted a quote on Instagram story. While she didn't mention any names, netizens were quick to assume she was pertaining to Sandra's shade.

She wrote, "To bear defeat with dignity, to accept criticism with poise, to receive honors with humility - these are the marks of a true queen."

Shamcey's post may have quickly reached Sandra and the beauty queen didn't back down and made a reply.

Sandra wrote on Instagram,"Get your tea, Accepting defeat graciously is one mark of being a queen. But what you forgot to say is that real queens, play fair don't cheat."

  1. If what sandra says is true,why she didnt reveal it before rabiya answers the said question? Shouting hey you already knew that question,you already seen it,not after the announcement of the winner,so seems youre a bitter duh
