    QAFMP RESULT: March, September 2020 Foreign Medical Professionals passers

    MANILA, Philippines – The March and September 2020 Qualifying Assessment for Foreign Medical Professionals (QAFMP) exam result, which includes the full list of passers is available on this page as released Thursday, October 1.

    UPDATE: 11 out of 33 passed the exams, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.

    The first part of the Qualifying Assessment for FMPs was conducted on March 7, 2020. But due to COVID-19 pandemic and the declaration of state of public health emergency throughout the country on March 11, the second part of the exam was postponed.

    In July, the PRC and the Professional Regulatory Board of Medicine decided to push through the second part of the postponed March 2020 Physician licensure exam (PLE) and the QAFMP.

    The continuation of the QAFMP was administered in Manila on Saturday, September 19. A total of 31 aspiring medical professionals took the exam.

    The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Clarita C. Maaño, Chairman; Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Rafael R. Castillo and Dr.Raquel S. Sayo, Members.

    The FMP exam is in accordance with the Joint Administrative Order (JAO) No. 01 (s 2015) between the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Department of Health (DOH).

    The assessment tool is to determine the entry-level qualifications of FMPs for medical residency or fellowship training in the Philippines.

    The FMP exam covers the following subjects: obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and nutrition, pathology, pharmacology and therapeutics, surgery and opthalmology, otolaryngology and rhinology and medicine.
