MANILA, Philippines – All systems go for the much-awaited opening ceremony of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan tonight, November 30. View on this page a guide on how to witness the spectacle on TV and on livestream.
This will be the first SEA Games opening ceremony to be held in an indoor venue.
Floy Quintos, director of the opening production, said spectators can expect a world-class performance that will highlight Filipino talent, craftsmanship and values while delivering a message of unity and inclusivity among Southeast Asians.

Broadcast partner ABS-CBN Channel 2 got the exclusive airing of the opening ceremonies, starting 6:50 pm, with livestreaming on iWant and online, and replay on S+A at 10 pm.
Show will start at 7:00 p.m. and expected to finish around 8:30 p.m. (an hour-and-half). There will be a pre-show at 5:00 p.m.
According to the organizers, livestream video will be available as well via 2019 SEA Games Facebook page.
Quintos is working with National Artist for Music and Ramon Magsaysay Awardee Maestro Ryan Cayabyab, US-based, Emmy-award winning live content creator FiveCurrents, and Filipino companies Video Sonic and Stage Craft International Inc.
FiveCurrents, which has won 14 Emmy Awards, is the live content creators that produced the London 2012 and Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics opening and closing ceremonies.
President Rodrigo Duterte will officially declare the Games open.
The all-Filipino line-up of performers includes: acclaimed singers Lani Misalucha (who will sing the Philippine National Anthem), Christian Bautista, Aicelle Santos, Jed Madela, Elmo Magalona, KZ Tandingan, Iñigo Pascual, The TNT Boys, Ana Fegi, and Robert Seña, and international rap artist Apl d Ap.
The country’s premiere folk dance company, the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group, is also contributing their skills together with hundreds of students from at least 12 different schools and colleges in Metro Manila.
Beauty queens headed by Ms. Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach will also participate in the opening ceremonies.
World boxing champion, Senator Manny Pacquiao will be the torch bearer and will light the cauldron.
