FULL RESULTS: November 2019 NLE Nursing board exam list of passers, top 10

MANILA, Philippines – (NLE Result. Updated December 5) The November 2019 nurse licensure examination (NLE) results or nursing board exam full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available here as officially released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board of Nursing (BoN) on Thursday, December 5 2019 or in 14 working days after the last day of exam.

As announced, 7,627 out of 13,816 (55.20%) passed the exams.

The second NLE this year was conducted in various testing centers nationwide (Manila, all regional offices and Zamboanga) on November 16 and 17.

NOVEMBER 2019 NLE RESULTS SUMMARY

The members of the Board of Nursing who gave the licensure examination are Glenda S. Arquiza, Chairman; Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Gloria B. Arcos, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Florence C. Cawaon and Cora A. Añonuevo, Members.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING OF PASSERS

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice.”

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

NLE's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

NOTE: If you have 'Jr" name suffix, please add it after your FIRST NAME (i.e Eduardo Jr ) to avoid 'no matching record found' error.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The two-day exam covered competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows: patient care, empowering, enabling and enhancing competencies.

The five (5) parts of the NLE are the following:
  • Nursing Practice I (Community Health Nursing)
  • Nursing Practice II (Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child)
  • Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part A)
  • Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part B)
  • Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part C)

RELEASE OF NLE RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 1127 series of 2018, the target release of NLE results is on Thursday, December 5, 2019. The 'big day' falls in 18 calendar days or in just 14 working days after the last day of exam. The computed number of working days excludes 2 Saturdays and Sundays.

However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise examinees to monitor release of results starting December 2 (Monday) until December 6 (Friday) or in 11-15 working days after the exams.

PREVIOUS EXAMS

In the same period last year, PRC announced results in fourteen (14) working days. A total of 4,811 out of 12,033 (39.98%) passed the licensure exams. University of Santo Tomas (UST) topped the schools with 100% passing rate or all of its 337 takers passed. UST graduate Jennifer Jacob Quirante led the passers with 87.80%.

In the November 2017 exams, results were out in eleven (11) working days after the exams. PRC named 5,875 out of 12,869 (45.65%) who passed the exams. UST led the schools with 100% passing rate. Raymund Kernell Balmaceda Manago of University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila aced the board with 89.00%.

In the November 2016 NLE, results were released in twelve (12) working days. A total of 6,836 out of 14,322 (47.73%) passed the examinations. UST and Benguet State University - La Trinidad topped the schools with 100% passing rate. Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) - Lucban and Saint Louis University (SLU) were among the top performing schools. SLU graduate Eric Carolino Jacinto and UST's Faith Calzado Rutagines topped the board with identical average grade of 86.60%.
