"When you see your name on the list, say to yourself, “I can help. I will help.” Start by remembering the Oath; take to heart every word. And then recall the Preamble, every word. Then do one thing everyday to make those words real. That’s how you can help. "

"If your name isn’t on the list—breathe, grieve and mourn, heal. Take however long you need. Then, pick yourself up and do your bit to help because there is so much that needs to be done. And if helping means trying again, then do it."
