MANILA, Philippines – Miss Universe Philippines Catriona Gray dropped a vlog that showcases the rich culture and beauty of the Philippines.
Catriona Gray really came prepared for the competition. Just in time for Miss Universe national costume competition on December 10, the Philippine representative released a vlog highlighting the beauty of the Philippines.
On her Instagram account, Gray captioned the video as “We Filipinos bond over food, music, dance and shared stories. And to Filipinos, no matter who you are and where you come from, you always have an invitation to celebrate.”
In a video titled “This is the Philippines!”, Catriona gives the world a glimpse on our popular tourist spots in Luzon. From Luneta, Intramuros, Rizal and Pampanga explains why Filipinos are one of the happiest people in the world.

Catriona also talked about the Filipino arts and how it touched her as an artist. She went to Rizal for the Higantes Festival and enjoyed the “parols” of Pampanga.
But the 24-year-old beauty spent a longer time talking about “Paskong Pinoy.” In the video, Catriona said, “Us Filipinos love Christmas so much, that we have the longest Christmas season in the world.”
“Seeing lights being put up along the street and these colored lanterns called parols being put up at people’s houses makes Christmas in Philippines magical,” she added.
Fans are guessing if the theme of the video is to Catriona’s much-anticipated national costume. Last week, Catriona already hinted that her costume is related to “Christmas.”
Catriona is all set and ready for Miss Universe coronation night this coming December 17.
