Everyone knows that shadows just ‘copy’ the person or thing that is casting the shadow. After all, shadows are not living things but are just dark areas that are just reverse projections of the object that was blocking the source light.

Recently, however, photos of a woman carrying a child went viral because her shadow looks so much different from what it should have been!

Arlaine S Villosabri narrated that it was the first time that she had gone to the house of her sister’s in-laws. She asked her sister to take her photo while she holding the baby, so she can burp the child who had just finished drinking milk.

But the cute photo took a sinister turn when Arlaine checked the pictures.

Arlaine vowed that the photos were not edited at all – and she doesn’t even know how to edit photos. She was not using any filter as well but the pictures look rather creepy.

While Arlaine was standing up, with her arms wrapped around the baby she was carrying, her shadow had arms that fell to her sides! The shadow was also hunched up and looked generally scary, even though Arlaine was standing up straight.

After seeing the photos, she showed them to her sister who also showed it to the other people in the house. Everyone agreed that the photos look really creepy.

A lot of people would quickly suggest that Arlaine go back home and that she should not return to this house; who knows if that shadow was actually a lost soul, her family suggested.

Shaken by the creepy experience, Arlaine shared the photos and prayed hard that nothing evil will happen to her.

While there were some netizens who were sceptical, most agreed that the photos look scary and that she really shouldn’t go back to that house ever again!
