FULL RESULTS: June 2018 Criminologist CLE board exam list of passers, top 10

MANILA, Philippines – (Updated June 29) The June 2018 Criminologist board exam results or Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE), which include the alphabetical list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools are officially released online on Friday, June 29, 2018 or twelve (12) working days after the exam.

As announced, 7,307 out of 21,894 passed the exams.

The results of examination with respect to five (5) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology administered the CLE on June 10, 11 and 12 (Sunday to Tuesday) in Manila, All Regional Offices and Zamboanga.

The members of the Board of Criminology who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, Chairman; Hon. George O. Fernandez and Hon. Ruben A. Sta. Teresa, Members.

CLE RESULTS SUMMARY

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS AND OATHTAKING

From July 9 to July 13, 2018, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Visit the official website of PRC (www.prc.gov.ph) and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
  • duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
  • 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 short brown envelope with name and profession

The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

Criminologist board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

NOTE: If you have 'Jr" name suffix, please add it after your FIRST NAME (i.e Eduardo Jr ) to avoid 'no matching record found' error.

COVERAGE OF EXAM

The June 2018 Criminologist board exam covered the following subjects: criminal jurisprudence, procedure and evidence and law enfocement administration (Day 1), criminalistics, crime detection and investigation (Day 2); and sociology of crimes and ethics and correctional administration (Day 3).

RELEASE OF RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 2017-1068, which deals with the 'Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2018', the target release of Criminologist board exam results is on Friday, June 29 or in 12 working days after the exam. However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.

In the same period last year (June 2017), PRC announced results in twelve (12) working days. The agency named 5,202 out of 20,819 (24.99%) who passed the exams.

In the April 2016 exams, results were out in eleven (11) working days. A total of 3,928 out of 16,435 (23.90%) passed the exam.

We advise examinees to monitor announcement of results from June 25 (Monday) until the target date.

TOP PERFORMING SCHOOLS

University of the Cordilleras (UC) is consistently topping the Criminologist licensure exam in the past years. In the June 2017 and April 2016 exams, UC dominated the schools with 95.88% and 98.13%, respectively.

Lipa City Colleges and University of Baguio are among the top schools in the June 2017 exams.
