The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially announced on Wednesday, November 14 that 6,836 out of 14,322 (47.73%) passed the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last November 2016.
PRC has recognized University of Santo Tomas (UST) and Benguet State University (BSU) - La Trinidad as the no. 1 performing schools as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010. These schools garnered 100-percent passing rate in the exam.
