MANILA, Philippines - The winningest squad in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) cheerdandance competition (CDC) history failed to claim the throne for themselves today, November 19 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe placed fourth, 650 points. NU Pep Squad clinched the top spot after totaling 711.

As posted on its Twitter page, the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe promised an incredible UAAP CDC.
Aside from UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe, other teams who have competed in this year's CDC were the NU Pep Squad, DLSU Animo Squad, Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion, FEU Cheering Squad, Adamson Pep Squad and UE Pep Squad.
