VIDEO: Team Bamboo artists sing Billionaire's Taglish version on 'Voice Kids'

MANILA, Philippines - Young artists of Team Bamboo got standing ovation from "The Voice Kids" coaches as they performed Bruno Mars' Billionaire but in Taglish version in the Saturday's episode of top-rating vocal competition.

The 'Pusong Pinoy Singer ng USA' Altair Aguelo impressed coach Bamboo over the 'Kulit Kid from Tondo' Romeo Espino and 'Darling duo from Bohol' Emman and Sandy Tanyo in the battle round of 'The Voice Kids.'

"Kung ako ay pipili dahil lang sa sobrang bumagay sa kanya ang awitin na ito, siguro si Altair," Coach Sarah said.

"I think just given the degree of difficulty, I'm gonna go with Emman and Sandy" Coach Lea commented..

"Romeo, ginawa mo sa rap sinarili mo at nagawa mo at proud ako sayo dun. Altair, vocally andun ka na eh," Coach Bamboo said.

There will be no steal option this season, the coaches will have only one chance to save their young artists.

Coach Bamboo had selected the groups of artists from his 18 artists team and the song they need to perform in the Battles.

After the Battles, vocal showdown of Team Bamboo's top 6 artists will be featured in the Sing-Offs, which will cut down the team to its Final 2 artists.

The episode of The Battles on Saturday dominates online conversations with '#BattlesTVK2 ' among the trending topics.

“The Voice Kids” airs on Saturdays, 7:15 PM and Sundays, 7:45 PM on ABS-CBN’s Yes Weekend.
