List of Winners: Oscars 2015, the 87th Academy Awards

The complete list of winners for the 87th Academy Awards better known as the Oscars is officially revealed on Sunday, Februrary 22, 2015 (Monday on Philippine Time) in the awards night ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

Oscars 2015 is mainly dominated by the entries from "Birdman" as it won the best picture, cinematography and original screenplay, and the film's director, Alejandro González Iñárritu, won the directing Oscar.
In the acting categories, Eddie Redmayne won for best actor and Julianne Moore took home the award for best actress.

Meanwhile, "The Grand Budapest Hotel" took home several awards which include costume design, makeup and hairstyling, production design and best original score.

During the ceremony, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) presents the Academy Awards to honor the best films of 2014.

The final round of voting by the Academy's 6,292 members ended on Tuesday.

Each of this year's nominees for Best Original Song performed by the likes of John Legend and Common, Tim McGraw, Rita Ora, Maroon 5 and Tegan and Sara and The Lonely Island. A special tribute performances from Anna Kendrick, Jennifer Hudson, Lady Gaga and Jack Black are also scheduled.

Actor Neil Patrick Harris hosted the starriest event for the first time.
