1,450 out of 12,195 pass PMA Entrance Exam (PMAEE Results) August 2013

Manila, Philippines - The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) announced today that 1,450 examinees out of 12,195 (11.89%) applicants successfully passed the entrance examination (PMAEE) in the test conducted last August 2013 in several testing centers nationwide.

From the total number of Twelve Thousand One Hundred Ninety Five (12,195) applicants who took the PMA Cadet Qualification Test on August 25, 2013 in the thirty-seven (37) examination centers all throughout the country, only Eleven Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy Eight (11,978) were able to complete the said test.

Out of this number, One Thousand Four Hundred Fifty (1,450), composed of Nine Hundred Fifty Two (952) males and Four Hundred Ninety Eight (498) females, made it to the next phase of the selection process for PMA Cadetship which is the Complete Physical Examination (CPE) to be conducted at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center.

The qualified PMAEE passers will go through medical, psychological and physical examination to determine their fitness to undergo the four-year military training in the Academy. After the series of examinations, the PMA Cadet Procurement Board will deliberate and select the most qualified candidates to compose PMA Class of 2018who are expected to report to Philippine Military Academy on April 1, 2014 for the Oath-taking Ceremony and Reception Rites.

Being a PMA cadet gives an individual a noble privilege in serving the country. Upon admission to the Cadet Corps, Armed Forces of the Philippines, one is able to avail of a free college education with a well-rounded curriculum, as well as, receive monthly pay and allowances. After graduating from the Academy, he/she is guaranteed a progressive career as an officer in the Army, Navy or Air Force.

Update: ADVISORY TO ALL PMA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2013 PASSERS

PMA advised that the letter informing that you have passed the 2013 PMA Entrance Examination has been sent to the address which you have indicated in your application form. While waiting for the said letter which you will be bringing when you report to PMA Candidate Control and Liaison Office, AFP Medical Center, V-Luna Road, Quezon City for your Complete Physical Examination which will last for seven days, you can already prepare in advance the following requirements:


  • Local Clearances:

        -Barangay Clearance
        -PNP Clearance
        -Court Clearance (Court of First Instance or Judge)
        -Mayor’s Clearance

  • Recent Valid ID (School ID, Driver’s ID, Passport, etc)
  • NSO copy of birth certificate (One (1) original and two (2) photocopies)
  • Certified True Copy of High School Form 137 (One (1) original and two (2) photocopies)
  • Original copy and one (1) certified true copy of your High School Diploma (Certified True Copy will be taken by Office of Cadet Admission)
  • Parent’s Consent (to be accomplished in 4 original copies duly notarized – note: This is attached in the letter you will receive.)
  • Ten (10) copies of 2”x2” and four (4) copies of 1”x1” pictures (colored with white background)
  • Minimum clothing for 7 days
  • Beddings (blanket, mosquito net, etc)
  • A pair of rubber (running) shoes
  • Three (3) sets of athletic uniform (White shirt with short pants for male/jogging pants or short pants with cycling shorts for female


Note: If you have submitted your original NSO Birth Certificate and original certified true copy of your High School Form 137 to the Office of Cadet Admission, PMA, there is no need to present it.

The Complete Physical Examination (CPE) is the second phase in the selection process for PMA Cadetship. PMA advised you to prepare accordingly for the physical exercises that will be administered during the physical fitness test. You will also undergo medical and psychological examinations as part of the CPE.
