Klarisse de Guzman is 'The Voice PH' sixth 4-chair turner

The battle of the coaches to get artist for their team is intense on Saturday, July 20 episode of the hit singing contest of ABS-CBN,  'The Voice of the Philippines'. Klarisse de Guzman, the sixth 4-chair turner during the 'Blind Auditions' creates clash between Sarah Geronimo and Apl de Ap.

Klarisse impressed the judges with her rendition of OPM hit "Tulak ng Bibig, Kabig ng Dibdib".

Sarah was shocked to see her former competitor in 'Star for a Night' as she recalled the name 'Klang' and immediately hugged Klarisse. Sarah was tagged 'Popstar Princess' due to that show.

In an effort to recruit Klarisse, she even tried to call the Concert King, Martin Nievera which is a good connection to promote her artist.

To counter the good strategy of the Popstar Princess, Apl.de.Ap also made a call to his friend and a Voice UK judge will.i.am. Unfortunately, the attempt was unsuccessful as a voice mail was returned.

When asked by Coach Lea which team she will choose, Klarisse didn't have any hesitation to pick Sarah Geronimo.

"Pipiliin ko 'tong coach na 'to kasi alam kong matutulungan niya talaga ako, and gusto ko ulit siya makasama," de Guzman said.

Klarisse de Guzman is among the 4-chair turners of the Blind Auditions including Thor Dulay (Team Apl), Michaellen Temporada(Team Sarah), Don Michael Perez(Team Bamboo), Juvie Pelos (Team Lea) and Janice Javier(Team Apl).

As of the Saturday's episode, Coach Lea is the first to complete her team of 12 artists. Team Bamboo, Team Sarah and Team Apl are still searching for one more artist each to complete their respective teams.

The Voice of Philippines next phase 'The Battle Rounds' is set to air on July 28, 2013. The Voice team already taped the talent search's second phase last July 8-9 in one studio of ABS-CBN.
