MANILA, Philippines - Puberty challenge has definitely taken over Pinoy netizens after Aleksis Corbi shared her dramatic transformation on Facebook. Now, another netizen is gaining online fame after photos of her unique transformation made rounds on social media.

Clarisse “Clar" Frias won the hearts of ladies with her shocking metamorphosis from a cute girl into a good-looking tomboy. It’s certainly not Clar’s first shot at fame as she once joined It’s Showtime’s “That’s My Tomboy” where she emerged as a grand finalist.

Often compared to Swedish androgynous model Erika Linder and Filipino “Teen King” Daniel Padilla, Clar has amassed online following with over 44,000 followers on Facebook, more than 24,000 followers on Instagram and about 16,000 followers on Twitter.

Her one-of-a-kind transformation has earned praises from netizens who can’t help but point how equally beautiful and handsome she is.

“How can someone manage to be pretty and handsome at the same time? I mean HOWWW,” said a certain Pauline Morial.

Netizen Roxane Telosa commented: “Grabe besh ang ganda mo dati. Ngayon super gwapo mo na. “

“Akala ko ang puberty challenge is from panget to biglang pogi/ganda... Eh maganda na sya tlga eh kahit sa una palang,” Jasiel Perez wrote.

During her interview for the grand finals of “That’s My Tomboy,” Clar revealed her being a tomboy inspired her to finish her studies.

“Gusto ko yung maisip ng mga babae or mga magulang na may future din sila kahit tomboy yung karelasyon nila. Kapag tomboy dapat marami kang achievements eh. Kailangan may maipagmamalaki ka talaga,” Clar said.

In 2013, noontime show “It’s Showtime” launched the very first beauty contest for members of the lesbian community through the segment “That’s My Tomboy.” Initially, the show segment became controversial and a hot topic on social media but eventually received commendations from LGBT advocates.
