Sharing the milestone on Facebook, the veteran actress posted: “Discipline is choosing to finish, even when it's hard. Just finished.”

Tolentino also proudly declared her commitment to serve, writing, “Lorna Tolentino Fernandez, at your service. Philippine Navy Reserve Command. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!”

The actress documented the achievement on social media, where she was also seen accompanied by her son, Rap Fernandez, during the occasion.

Her latest accomplishment marks a new chapter for the actress, who has built a decades-long career in Philippine showbiz. Beyond the spotlight, Tolentino is now embracing a different kind of responsibility through her participation in the country's naval reserve force.

Tolentino holds the rank of Seaman First Class following her completion of the military training.

For Tolentino, the achievement appears to reflect more than simply completing a course. Her message about discipline underscores the commitment and perseverance required to finish something even when the journey becomes difficult.

Lorna said her late husband, action star Rudy Fernandez, also inspired her, as he was a Navy reservist during his lifetime.

Aside from LT, other celebrities who are Navy reservists include Christopher de Leon, Winwyn Marquez, Kim Rodriguez, Karina Bautista, and Nadia Montenegro.
