PRC reschedules August 2026 Psychologists, Psychometricians board exams

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has rescheduled the August 2026 Psychologists Licensure Examination (PsLE) and Psychometricians Licensure Examination (PmLE) amid continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon.

Originally scheduled for August 19 and 20, 2026, both examinations will now be held on September 1 and 2, 2026.

The rescheduling was made upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and in view of Heavy Rainfall Warnings issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The PsLE, which will be administered as a computer-based licensure examination (CBLE), will be conducted in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales and Tuguegarao.

Meanwhile, the PmLE will be held in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The PRC also announced a work-from-home arrangement for all its offices and service centers in the National Capital Region and 14 provinces on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 128 issued by the Office of the President.

The affected provinces are Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Laguna and Occidental Mindoro.

The arrangement was implemented upon the recommendation of the NDRRMC amid Heavy Rainfall Warnings issued by PAGASA due to the Southwest Monsoon.

The PRC advised examinees with questions or concerns to contact their respective Regional Offices through the official contact information provided on its website.

Examinees are also urged to monitor the PRC website and official Facebook page for further announcements concerning the rescheduled examinations.
