MTLE RESULTS — The full results of the August 2026 Medical Technologist (MedTech) Licensure Exam (MTLE), including the list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing school and performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, three (3) working days after the exam.

The Commission conducted the second regular MTLE this year on August 15 and 16, 2026 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The members of the Board of Medical Technology who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Marilyn A. Cabal-Barza, Chairperson; Hon. Leila Lany M. Florento and Hon. Maria Lourdes L. Gatbonton, Members.

NOTE: Those who failed to pass the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70% can register as Medical Laboratory Technician, PRC said.

Release of MTLE Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the August 2026 MedTech Licensure Examination results will be released on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, within three (3) working days.

The release date may still change and could be posted later than the target date. We advise examinees to bookmark this page and follow our social media channels for the latest updates and official announcements from the PRC.

Registration and Oathtaking

PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration for the new medtech will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Date of Registration: To be announced

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • Screenshot of system-generated Registration Form
  • valid government-issued ID

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

Verification of Rating

The MedTech board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

Coverage of Examinations

The MedTech board exam covered the following subjects: clinical chemistry, microbiology and parasitology, and clinical microscopy on August 15; and hematology, blood banking and serology, histopathologic techniques, cytotechnology, medical technology laws, related laws and their implementing rules, and the code of ethics on August 16.

Previous Examinations

In the March 2026 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results three (3) working days after the exams. A total of 7,838 out of 9,317 examinees (84.13%) passed. Reisz Wyrnel Gaudicos Camasin of San Pedro College-Davao City topped the board with a rating of 93.00%.

For the August 2025 MTLE, PRC released the results five (5) working days after the exams. A total of 3,360 out of 4,720 examinees successfully passed. Myles Chaesel Sunit Ejara of the University of the Immaculate Conception-Davao ranked first with a rating of 93.10%.

Meanwhile, the March 2025 MTLE results were released four (4) working days after the exams. Of the 7,659 examinees, 6,147 successfully passed. Jherry Andrei Dellica Arbotante of Velez College topped the examination with a rating of 92.30%.
